My Prescription Strategy

I make selective use of prescription medications to address specific risks identified in my labs and genetics. Each choice is intentional — not routine — and aimed at supporting lipid balance, inflammation control, and long-term brain and cardiovascular protection.

Lipid & Cardiovascular Risk

  • Ezetimibe
Used to reduce cholesterol and plant sterol absorption – especially relevant given my hyperabsorber status.
  • Pravastatin
Used to lower ApoB while minimizing potential side effects. Carefully titrated based on response.

Immune Modulation & Inflammation

  • Low-Dose Naltrexone
Supports immune regulation and helps reduce chronic inflammatory signaling.
  • Rapamycin (1x weekly)
Used strategically for its effects on mTOR signaling, autophagy, and longevity pathways.

Hormone Optimization

  • Cytomel (Thyroid)
  • NP Thyroid
  • Low Dose BHRT/200mg Progesterone

Used to support optimal thyroid function, metabolic activity, and overall energy balance.

Viral Management

  • Acyclovir (200mg)

Used as part of a broader strategy to suppress viral reactivation (HSV/EBV considerations).
