My Prescription Strategy
I make selective use of prescription medications to address specific risks identified in my labs and genetics. Each choice is intentional — not routine — and aimed at supporting lipid balance, inflammation control, and long-term brain and cardiovascular protection.
Lipid & Cardiovascular Risk
- Ezetimibe
Used to reduce cholesterol and plant sterol absorption – especially relevant given my hyperabsorber status. - Pravastatin
Used to lower ApoB while minimizing potential side effects. Carefully titrated based on response.
Immune Modulation & Inflammation
- Low-Dose Naltrexone
Supports immune regulation and helps reduce chronic inflammatory signaling. - Rapamycin (1x weekly)
Used strategically for its effects on mTOR signaling, autophagy, and longevity pathways.
Hormone Optimization
- Cytomel (Thyroid)
- NP Thyroid
- Low Dose BHRT/200mg Progesterone
Used to support optimal thyroid function, metabolic activity, and overall energy balance.
Viral Management
- Acyclovir (200mg)
Used as part of a broader strategy to suppress viral reactivation (HSV/EBV considerations).
